She studied Music and Theater at the »Escuela Nacional de Arte Dramático, Cunill Cavanellas« of Buenos Aires. For 5 years Andrea worked as a music teacher, at the same time participated in several music and theater projects.

In Berlin she studied Latin American Studies, Spanish Philology and Ethnology of America at the Freie Universität. Since 2000 she had been working as a teacher, translator, lecturer and in the organization of intercultural exchanges between Latin America and Germany. Since 2006 Andrea is responsible for the permanent training of employees of the Iberoamerikanisches Institut, Berlin, (Spanish as a foreign language/culture and civilization), and since 2014 as lecturer for »Academic Writing« in the Master degree »Intercultural Conflict Management«, ASH, Berlin.

She is responsible for the strategy of internationalization of the Cluster of Excellence and coordinates the cooperation with universities in Latin-America and the Master’s degree programme »Open Design«.
