Anne Hattwich studied Political Science (B.A.) and European Literatures (M.A.) from the Freie Universität Berlin and the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, respectively. She has work experience as a student assistant in the Department of International Affairs of the latter. 

Post graduation, she was engaged as an event coordinator in the German Federal Foreign Office and in the International Civil Society Centre. Prior to joining the Cluster, she was an assistant in the research planning and network division of the Presidential Department of the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB).

She is responsible for the development and coordination of the Interdisciplinary Laboratory’s externally funded research proposals.
