Anne MacKinney obtained her Bachelor’s degree in History and German Studies at the University of California, Berkeley in 2012. As a DAAD scholarship student, she is now pursuing a Master’s degree in Historical Science with a focus on the history of science at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Since March 2014 she was working as a student assistant on the project »Mobile Objects«, assisting in the historical investigation of the genesis and development of natural and cultural collections.
