Cornelia Thierbach has a degree in Sociology and Technology Studies from the TU Berlin. She was employed as a tutor from 2006 to 2011 at the same university, and from 2011 to 2016 she held the post of research associate in the field of empirical social research methods (Prof. Dr. Baur). Her research interests are mixed methods and sociology of space. She is currently carrying out a doctoral project on the role of space in the everyday activities of the investigators of a Cluster of Excellence.

Cornelia Thierbach will be joining the research associates of the Priority Area »ArchitekturesExperiments«, where she will be investigating the relationship between space and scientific working practices. Specifically, she will be assisting with data collection and analysis in the Experimental Zone.
