Kathrin Hohmaier

Kathrin Hohmaier worked in the administration offices on event management and applications for grants. She studied Cultural Science and Sociology with particular emphasis on the sociology of art and qualitative methods of empirical social research. For her final dissertation, she investigated the reception of art among visitor groups other than museum visitors. She has participated in several evaluation and research projects at Leipzig University of Applied Sciences and in the project entitled »Praxis of the exhibition visit« at the Department of Cultural History and Theory of the University of Leipzig. She has gained experience in the cultural sector in numerous ventures, in areas such as art education, press and publicity and event production and management.
