Lisa Schreiber studied Cultural Sciences at the Europa-Universität Viadrina (European University Viadrina) at Frankfurt (Oder) and Media Culture at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. She wrote her thesis on the historical epistemology of the Geiger counter and has worked as a project assistant at the Kuratorische Arbeitsgemeinschaft hürlimann + lepp. Lisa Schreiber received a scholarship in the »Art, Science & Business« programme of the Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart. At the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar she worked as a student assistant at the Chair of Media Histography . She is currently working as a research associate on the base project »Epistemic Reverse Side of Images«, researching the history of Facial Action Coding Systems (FACS) and digital tools of face recognition in the field of affective computing from a pictorial science and history of science perspective.
