Marc Schleunitz

After his apprenticeship as a biological technical assistant, Marc Schleunitz obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Political Science at Freie Universität Berlin and is currently finishing a Master’s degree in »Biodiversity, Evolution, Ecology«. 

His interests lie in the connections between the utilisation and diverse transformations of the environment by people, their ecological consequences and the underlying economic processes. 

Since January 2014, Marc Schleunitz has been working as a student assistant on the project »Anthropocene«. Research concerning the global food supply and the accompanying materials flow and use of resources are at the centre of his work in the Interdisciplinary Laboratory.
