Sascha Brossmann sees himself as a reflective practitioner and synthesizer of culture and technology through design. He studied Visual Communication at the Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee (diploma 2007) as well as linguistics (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München), and computer science (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin). Starting in his late adolescence, he has worked on projects in different cultural areas (especially media art, music and theatre). He has been working as a freelance designer, concept developer, artist, consultant and publicist since 1995 and as a lecturer in Interaction Design at the Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin since 2009. His work currently focuses on experience design, strategic visual communication and media environments. His main interests are tools and environments for work and communication in post-industrial knowledge society, the interactions between technology, culture and society, and phenomena of media and technological change.
