Tilman Stephani

Roles
Interdisciplinary Laboratory

Tilman Stephani is completing a Master’s in Psychology at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Whilst working on his Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Biology (also at the HU Berlin), he worked as a student assistant on projects on executive control in dual tasks and the emotional processes involved in processing visual stimuli.

Tilman is very interested in basic psychological research (in particular using neuroscientific methods) and also tries to identify practical applications for scientific findings. Alongside his studies, he has been working at a private research institute (Human-Factors-Consult GmbH) that explores human-technology interaction since June 2015.

As a Germany Scholarship holder in the Cluster Image Knowledge Gestaltung, Tilman will now compare the perception processes applied with natural objects to those used with objects.
