Tobias Cheung

Interdisciplinary Laboratory

Tobias Cheung is a Science Historian and Cultural Scientist. Completing his Ph.D. in 2007 at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, he was awarded a scholarship under the Heisenberg programme and worked in Munich, Paris, Boston and Tokyo. His research interests are life sciences, medicine, philosophy, literature, architecture and East Asia Studies with a focus on Japan. His latest publication is the »Organismen: Agenten zwischen Innen- und Außenwelten 1780–1860«.
